Next Step Network at Adventure Unknown is a career‑focused connection space designed for young adults ages 16–25 who want real access to professionals, industry leaders, and working adults across a wide range of fields. This event gives participants the chance to learn directly from people who are already in the roles they’re curious about. From offering honest insight into career paths, workplace expectations, and opportunities they may not hear about anywhere else. Whether you’re exploring internships, entry‑level jobs, or simply trying to understand what direction feels right, Next Step Network provides a supportive environment where you can ask questions, get clarity, and hear real‑world advice from current Adventure Unknown members, business owners, and partnering corporations. These conversations help bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to go. We know that sometimes hearing guidance from parents or teachers doesn’t always land. Hearing it again from an outside perspective such as a mentor, a professional, or someone actively working in the field — can make all the difference. This event is built for those moments. Share‑A‑Bottle is a 21+ hang where members bring something they want to open and share, sometimes it’s one person with a single bottle, sometimes six members show up with their own. Poker 101 with Brian Kusmer

Come hang out for Poker 101, a beginner‑friendly day where you can learn different styles of poker, understand basic gambling concepts, and get comfortable with how the games work — all in a no‑money, no‑pressure environment. We’ll walk through: The most common poker nights (Texas Hold’em, Omaha, 5‑Card Draw, etc.) How betting rounds work Table etiquette and terminology Fun practice hands so you can learn by playing This is a great chance to meet people, learn the games, and get confident before joining our regular poker nights.
